Acupuncture Procedures
After the decision has been made to start acupuncture therapy, one should follow these procedures to fulfill correct therapeutic treatment:

• Not to take pain medication, eat large meals or drink alcoholic beverages for at least two hours prior to treatment.
• Follow through with therapy–DO NOT get discouraged. Keep all appointments.
• Follow all instructions made by your physician for your particular condition.
• Be sure to direct any questions you may have to your doctor. He is qualified to give you the facts about acupuncture.
